1. Refund Eligibility Window

To ensure that our players have sufficient time to assess the content and functionality of their purchases, we provide a refund window of fourteen (14) calendar days from the original date of purchase. This period gives users ample time to explore purchased items, verify their quality, and confirm they meet expectations. After this window expires, refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and will generally only be granted if there are technical issues or failures beyond the user’s control, such as platform errors that prevent delivery of the purchased product or result in irreparable defects.

2. Digital Products and Non-Physical Items

Due to the nature of digital goods, most purchases are non-refundable, particularly after delivery has occurred. Digital assets, such as downloadable content (DLC), in-game currency, unlockable features, or any content that can be used, consumed, or accessed digitally, are generally final sale. However, exceptions may be made if a purchased item is not delivered correctly, has been corrupted, or is rendered unusable due to unforeseen technical issues or errors on the New World: Aeternum platform.

In cases where an item is not delivered as expected or is malfunctioning due to system issues, players should report the problem as soon as possible via the official support channels. Refunds will only be granted under these exceptional circumstances and after proper evaluation of the issue.

3. Access Revocation

Upon the successful approval of a refund, New World: Aeternum reserves the right to revoke access to any associated items, licenses, or privileges related to the refunded product. This includes, but is not limited to, access to in-game content, downloadable materials, or exclusive items that were previously unlocked. This policy ensures that the New World: Aeternum economy remains fair and balanced, and prevents misuse of refunded items.

Once a refund has been processed, any access rights associated with the refunded goods will be terminated immediately. In cases where items or features were purchased through a bundle or as part of a larger transaction, the remaining items or services may still be accessible, provided that the refund does not affect the remaining balance or access rights.

4. Processing Timeframe

Upon approval of a refund request, the reimbursement process may take up to ten (10) business days to complete. This timeframe accounts for the necessary checks and verification procedures, as well as any processing delays by third-party payment providers, banking systems, or financial institutions involved in the transaction. While New World: Aeternum makes every effort to expedite the refund process, certain delays may occur that are beyond our control.

You will be notified of the status of your refund via the in-platform messaging system or through the registered contact details associated with your account. Please note that depending on the original payment method used, refunds may be issued via different channels, including direct deposits, digital wallet credits, or through the original payment provider (e.g., credit card, PayPal, etc.).

5. Non-Refundable Circumstances

New World: Aeternum operates under a policy of fairness, and as such, there are certain conditions under which refunds will not be granted. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Buyer’s remorse, or accidental purchases made by the user;
  • Dissatisfaction with game content, difficulty, or progression (e.g., difficulty levels, gameplay balance, personal preference issues);
  • Penalties arising from rule violations, account suspensions, or bans due to cheating or other violations of New World: Aeternum’s Code of Conduct;
  • Issues arising from the use of unauthorized third-party software, hacks, or mods that alter the intended functionality of the platform or gameplay experience.

Refund requests that fall under any of these circumstances will not be eligible for processing unless there is sufficient evidence presented and a full review of the situation is conducted. Exceptional cases may still be considered based on additional information provided by the user.

6. Submission and Review Process

All refund requests must be submitted through the official New World: Aeternum support channels, located on the official website. To facilitate the review process, each request should include:

  • The transaction ID or order number associated with the purchase;
  • A description of the item(s) or service(s) being refunded;
  • The original purchase date;
